Notes on billing
- Billing counts users who can sign in at your directory. A user removed from the directory stops being billed at the next monthly sync.
- Education, healthcare and registered non-profits: 40% off list, verified once a year.
- Annual plans may be paid by invoice; monthly billing adds 15%.
- Volume above 1,000 users: ask for the banded sheet rather than working from list price.
- SMS fallback codes are charged at cost, $0.008 per message, itemised monthly.
Trial and conversion
The trial runs 30 days from the moment the directory is connected, not from signup, so the clock starts when the pilot actually begins. At the end of the trial the pilot group keeps working for 14 further days while the contract is prepared, then the tenant is suspended rather than deleted; data is kept for 60 days.
Public sector, schools and clinics: if a security questionnaire or a data protection impact assessment has to be completed before a trial, send it first. We answer question sets up to 120 items without a separate fee, and the architecture description on the security page usually covers the technical section.
